Haze is a husky character of my own creation, made for a local event run by the Humane Society called "Paws In Motion." A pet friendly walk-a-thon.
Myself (as Haze) along with the Paw Patrol (local street character group) went to entertain the children and adults who were participating. Finished sometime in June/July of 2007. So far she's been very well received by every event I've taken her to. ^_^
Now the nitty-gritty: I made her myself, with only the guidance of the wonderful internet tutorials available. This is the first full suit I've done, though it is the 3rd head I've ever built.
Everything is sewn by machine, nose and teeth are made from latex. Paws are stuff for extra poof, and the paw pads are sewn vinyl, also padded. The eyes are plastic with buckram. The tail is foam core, it straps on seperatly. She even has a tag with her name on it, done in white and blue (I made it from shrinky dinks. I plan to redo it sometime in something more durable) and the collar was actually a lucky find at the Paws In Motion event. $15.00 for a dog collar is a little silly, but it was the perfect colour, and the proceeds help the humane society anyways.
Please forgive the silly text. I was having fun with Photoshop.
...I am still so obsessed with that purple fur...
D'aww <33 We need to hang together at a con (or event) someday! :'D We're both adorable purple and white doggies. hehe. Haze is so cute, and I LOVE that fur..it looks so soft and silky. Awesome job.

Thanks! Unfortunatly I don't get to go too many cons. I live too far away from all the action, so it's hard to get enough time off work to travel to them.
Someday!
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
